The MCTC Mathematics Department offers a wide variety of developmental and college-level transfer math coursework to serve the needs of our diverse student population.

We also offer the Mathematics Associate in Science degree which is designed to prepare students to transfer into the junior or third year of a mathematics major in a four year college or university.

AMATYC Student Math League Competition
MCTC math students are encouraged to participate in this math competition along with community college students around the country. The Round 1 exam was given on Friday, October 30, 2009. The Round 2 exam will be given between February 12 and March 6, 2010. See the Math League Competition link for more information about the competition.
